As a child, Michelle Christensen often sat in the rumble seat of her dad’s ’32 Ford as they headed to hot-rod shows. Decades later, Christensen led the exterior design of Acura's NSX supercar. The 36-year-old -- who looks up to other female auto designers as well as GM CEO Mary Barra -- says her position has inspired young women to pursue automotive careers. Looking ahead, Christensen plans to mentor other women by encouraging them to "break beyond" gender stereotypes.
